Wave Trek Rescue is the leading river rescue training center in the Northwest for swiftwater and technical rope rescue. We offer a variety of rescue classes and custom courses for the professional or the recreational adventurer. Our facility is located on the banks of the Skykomish River, WA, set amongst the cliffs of the famous Index climbing wall at the base of the cascades mountains only 60 miles away from Seattle. Our course offerings include Rescue3 curriculum as well as (ACA) American Canoe Association certification courses. The swifwater rescue and technical rope rescue instructors are top notch in their field and are all outdoor enthusiasts, boaters, climbers and/or skiers with a wealth of experience to draw from. They strive to acknowledge individual student objectives and goals as part and parcel of the course curriculum for the most challenging and rewarding learning experience possible.

Wave Trek Rescue is excited to offer the newly revised technical animal rescue program. This program is designed for professional rescue personal as well as animal rescue groups. The Technical animal rescue water course is the only course in the world that brings floods and rivers into the equation. We will take an in depth look at the swift water rescue realm. The advanced class will deal with trailer accidents and advanced situations that will deal with moving large animals. Please give us a call for more information.

Wave Trek Rescue will be offering motorized boat handling courses . We will be offering the use of state of the art I.R.B.’s. These boats are made by AMI boats in Everett Washington.
They are made with a tunnel hull and have excellent tracking and turning ability. They require less horsepower to get them onto a plain. They will be excellent for rescue in the swift water environment.
